Stucco Retro West TN, Inc.,  is offering the Stucco Retro™ Extended Warranty and Maintenance Program as a practical way to protect your home and investment.  Upon satisfactory completion of the specified repairs, the home qualifies for the Extended Warranty and Maintenance Program.

General Warranty

Areas repaired under sections 2,4, and 5 of the Retro Spec will be warranted against defective workmanship and materials. Repair will be made at no cost.

Damage from any further water entry into the walls will be covered if caused by a failure of items covered under the above, with the following exception.

Damage caused by water entry through the window units and not through faulty sealant joints will only be covered with the installation of the Flash Pan System.

Specific Items covered:

  1. The EIFS system against delamination, cracking or spaulding.

  2. The failure of flashing.

  3. Failure of sealant joints.

  4. Damage that was caused by their failure.

Items Not Warranted

  1. Damage caused by acts of God, unforeseeable occurrences such as fire, or casualty, acts of nature or  weather conditions beyond the normal for the area.  Stucco Retro™ does not warrant against system delamination caused by future material failures.

  2. Damage caused by termites or other wood destroying insects that may be present before or after the work is completed.

  3. Stucco Retro West TN, Inc. does not warrant the windows, windowsills, mold, jambs, or sashes.  We do not warrant the doors, frames or brick mold.  We do not warrant the cornice or the gutters.  Stucco Retro will warrant damage under the windows if Flash Pans are installed but due to the fact that wood destroying fungus may already be present in the window cavity, no warranty is intended or implied on the window unit.

  4. There is no warranty on repainting of exterior wood whether new or touched up.

  5. Fading of colors or streaking or spotting due to iron pyrite contamination in the finish.

Voiding the Warranty

The warranty can be terminated by Stucco Retro for any of the following reasons. Reinstatement may require reinspections and or additional repairs.

  1. The warranty payment is due prior to the anniversary date. A 30 day grace period is granted. Payments not received within 30 days will cancel the warranty and no further notices will be sent.

  2. Abuse of the system or failure to have regular maintenance performed will void the Extended Warranty.

  3. Failure to pay for authorized unwarranted repairs within 60 days of invoice.

  4. Failure to make property available for annual inspection and repairs will void the warranty.

Warrant Extension

The rates quoted for Stucco Retro™ will not change for five years provided the Extension is kept current.  At the end of the five-year period, the home will be reevaluated.  If any repairs are required and made, the warranty may be extended for a second five-year period.  There may be a rate adjustment at that time.
